- Business award for the 2024 financial year presented in the province of Vienna
- EQOS once again among the top 3 in the Large Companies category
- Long-term company performance lives up to the brand promise of “Excellent Quality of Services”
This year, the Austrian Leading Companies (ALC) Awards were presented for the 27th time. The awards, created by Austrian newspaper Die Presse in collaboration with the KSV1870 credit protection bureau and PwC Austria, honoured the most economically successful companies in the province of Vienna at an award ceremony held at Casino Baden on 15 October.
EQOS Energie Austria once again secured a spot on the podium: In the category “Large companies with annual sales worth more than EUR 50 million,” the company took an outstanding #th/3rd place, confirming its strong position in the market for the second time in a row. Last year, EQOS achieved a top ranking during its first participation ever.
Award for sustainable economic strength
The ALC competition is based on objective key performance indicators including sales growth, profitability, and financial stability over the past three financial years. The award recognises companies that perform well even under challenging economic conditions through consistent management, innovative power, and sustainable development.
EQOS CFO Matthias Weber, who accepted the award in person, proudly said: “This ranking is the result of the outstanding work of our employees. It is their commitment and dedication that made this success possible in the first place. This award belongs to the entire team.”
EQOS stands for “Excellent Quality of Services”
EQOS’ brand promise – “Excellent Quality of Services” – is reflected not only in its name but also in its figures: 73 per cent of the group’s sales last year came from sustainable activities. “Even after the first ALC wing statuette, there was a lot of positive feedback – both internally and externally,” Weber added. “With this second award, we are underscoring our position as one of the leading infrastructure service providers – with a clear focus on quality, sustainability, and innovative ability.”
