EQOS Energie has been commissioned by Bayernwerk Netz GmbH to execute the primary and electrical installation, thereby contributing its experience in the implementation of high-performance energy infrastructure in a targeted manner. \u201cThe new Niederviehbach substation is special,\u201d said Uwe Trampnau, Managing Director of EQOS Energie and Head of the <a href=\"https:\/\/eqos-energie.com\/en\/energy-technology\/\">Energy Technology<\/a> business unit. \u201cAfter all, once completed, it will be the first regional feed-in socket for green energy in our customer&#8217;s distribution network, and it will be an important element of a flexible and efficient grid infrastructure. The project fits perfectly into EQOS Energie&#8217;s portfolio and our claim as a green energy enabler to realise the social added value of the energy transformation,\u201d Trampnau continued.   <\/p>\n\n<p>In the future, the Niederviehbach substation with its combined transformer and switchgear will be used exclusively to feed green electricity into the high-voltage grid. In the Lower Bavarian districts of Dingolfing-Landau and Landshut in particular, a large number of local producers currently want to feed their electricity, which is mainly generated in photovoltaic systems, into the grid. This is exactly what the so-called \u201cfeed-in sockets\u201d, small substations that are specifically designed for fast and efficient direct feed-in, will facilitate.  <\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Promoting decentralised power generation, increasing capacity<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>Decentralised solar energy can only be an effective driver of the energy transformation if a modern infrastructure is in place to ensure its comprehensive collection, transmission and distribution. The Niederviehbach substation will proactively create new capacities so that an even larger amount of regionally generated solar power can be bundled from the medium-voltage grid and then distributed across the grid network in the future. In addition, the expansion of renewable energies will be further accelerated.  <\/p>\n\n<p><strong>EQOS Energie\u2019s expertise is convincing<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>\u201cAt EQOS Energie, we have extensive experience in the planning and construction of substations that are used as feed-in sockets for green electricity,\u201d said Markus Klein, Head of the Substations\/HV Germany South profit center at EQOS Energie.
